Wedding ceremony bells are in Robin Roberts‘ future.
The Good Morning America anchor revealed on Jan. 2 that she and longtime accomplice Amber Laign plan to get married in 2023.
“I am hesitating as a result of I have never mentioned it out loud but—I am saying sure to marriage,” Roberts instructed motivational speaker Gabby Bernstein in a video that she posted on her Instagram. “We’re getting married this 12 months.”
“It was one thing we had talked about however we had put it off, she turned ailing,” Roberts continued, referencing Laign’s battle with breast most cancers. “It’s saying sure to that, and that subsequent chapter.”
Along with the interview clip, Roberts, 62, shared on IG, “Saying YES to marriage in 2023. At all times a pleasure to speak with @gabbybernstein…she joined us LIVE with a manifestation problem to understand your desires within the new 12 months. #marriage #manifestation #loveislove.”
Roberts, who has been with Laign since 2005, first introduced her accomplice’s well being struggles in early 2022.
